EUDLO MUSIC NIGHTS 2024

We’d like to welcome you to today’s iteration of Eudlo Music Nights (EMN), an overnight music event held at Wominjeka Park in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland village of Eudlo. We're restarting our event as a boutique mini music festival on October 26, 2024 and hope you can join us! If we can make this October one a success our plan is to run it twice a year every April and October! ------>>> Keep up to date with festival news on our Facebook page.

PREVIOUS EUDLO MUSIC NIGHTS

Eudlo Music Nights, which ran four times in 2018 / 2019 (until COVID raised its ugly head!) has a fascinating web site attached to it. You are encouraged to go there for a look at what we used to do. The “videos” page in particular is worth a look as it features three short videos that were created as an intro to each festival. They do capture much of the energy and personalities present. In fact if you attended any of those events you might just see yourself in attendance! The web site is a superb archive and will give you a wonderful intro to what we will be doing (albeit in a reduced format) come October of this year. ------>>> Check out out previoius events on the EMN website

EVENT DETAILS

We are excited to announce the return of the Eudlo Music Nights (EMN) at Wominjeka Park on Saturday October 26. Yes, it is an election night but that shouldn’t get in the way of a great night for people who love live music and a sleepover! It is intended as a mini boutique music festival. This will be one night only and an audience capped at 150. EMN’s role is not to make a profit, but rather to guarantee the survival of live music with a basic income for the performers. Regarding acts, each EMN will include our best sunny coast artists and ideally one guest act from Brisbane or further afield, but, we’ll start local to see how we fare, so booked acts for this resurrected EMN in October include the legendary Claptomaniacs with their “Cream of Clapton” and “Doobies and Steely Dan” Tribute shows; local 6 piece blues giants the Spirits, with a kick “a’, hard rocking dance set; the Peter G Band with Peter fronting a very funky 6 piece including a vocal sensation with that dynamic duo Paula and Viki; local favourites include Beare Brand with Roger Beare and his spanking sax accompanied by soulful vocal to die for, and Kevin Brand doing everything else (but die)…

AND MORE

AND there will be more as the music on the stage runs from 4 til 10pm, then we have a jam around the fire (with due etiquette in place so no one dominates and all get a song…!) until 11pm, and the night continues with the energy of the music slowly dissipating around the big open fire and on as guests sleep in the 5 acre bushland setting of Wominjeka Park. Overnighting in our beautiful Park is encouraged (bring a tent or a caravan!) and we hope you’ll have time to join us for breakfast or at least a coffee in the morning before we ask everyone to leave by around 10am. Concerning gate opening on the Saturday we ask you not to arrive before 2.30pm. That helps us with less volunteers on gate duty for our event. On that note do book your tickets online before the weekend. We are capping it at 150 so it means an intimate boutique event, and hopefully a sold out show! Presented by the Glasshouse Musos in collaboration with Eudlo Hall Association. A not for profit event created by musicians for lovers of live music.
